The
goal of this document is to give autonomy to the searchers of the
Truth to develop their studies in an independent way if they want.
WILLIAM
WALKER ATKINSON was a north-american the art of selling, a lawyer
and a writer born in 1862 and dead at 1932. He was general editor
responsible by "Suggestion" (1900-1901), "New Thought"
(1901-1905) and "Advanced Thought" (1906), magazines
in Chicago. Dedicate him to spray Yogue Philosophy and Oriental
Occultism in occident. He was considered by Indian people how
an authority on the matter. He contributed to foundation a new
basis and conception to the Psychology and Thought about mental
world and its relation with spiritual reality of the man. Atkinson
has a large work with approximately a hundred books sign with
his own name, with pseudonyms, together with another authors,
anonymous, and some titles not identified. The major part of his
books has written between 1900 and 1922, although some of them
were before the 1900. Many articles and pamphlets joint your work,
resulting in 5 books per year more or less.
We
have reasons to imagine that we couldn't find all his books yet
ant prepared to get new surprises until we can complete our collections.
His work can be disposed in two principal's blocks:

13 titles, one of most representative, constitute a group
of teachings about Philosophy Yogue and Oriental Occultism;
Theron Q. Dumont - (10 TITLES) although it
is unknown in Brazil and in other countries, it is very respected
and indicated by experts in occultism matters in United States
of America. Many people love the books of Theron Q. Dumont,
without know that's same person of beloved Ramacharaka;
Swâmi Panchadasi -(5 TITLES) the name
Panchadasi refers to a text book of 15 chapters written by
Swâmi Vidyaranya to clarify and deepen the Vedanta,
in same way of Upanishads. With this pseudonyms appears in
Internet Booksellers some titles together with Dragonstar,
although the last, a modern writer, get some text of Atkinson's
books and put with yours;
Theodore Sheldon - (1 TITLE) it is "Vim Culture"
can be found exclusively in National Library of Scotland or
in Library of Circulo de Estudos Ramacharaca - CER;
The Three Initiate- (1

- it is debatable if it was writing by the three authors:
Mabel Collins (writer of "Light on the Path") and
Paul Foster;
Magus Incognito - (1 TITLE) The Secret Doctrines
from Rosicruacian.

The titles signed by William Walker Atkinson with his
own name (58 titles)

present was not identified all of 6 volumes of series "The
Arcane Teachings" published by Arcane Book Concern Co.
Three of these titles were proofed by CER: The Arcane Formulas
or Mental Alchemy (vol.1); The Cosmic Laws (vol.2); Vril or
Vital Magnetism (vol.6) Presently a very little of his works
has been published in all of world. These books can be found
in National Library around the world. Some titles disappeared
from Library of Congress, Washington - DC, and probably in
its major part can be found in library of Circulo de Estudos
Ramacharaca - CER, in Brazil. Now we have 109 titles, missing
approximately between ten or fifteen, always prepared to be
in front of new surprises. We preparing two documents named
"Ramacharaka Life and Work" and "Titles Catalog"
that can give details information's about the matter. The
last one has technical index card, places were it can be found,
the many titles in many languages, editors, pages, sources
of information, table of contents, summary, etc.
In
black we point the titles we have in Circulo de Estudos Ramacharaca
(CER), the language, and the way of sending: E-mail or mail (brochure).
All the titles were confronted with original titles or table of
contents. When title was published in another country and it's impossible
to do the confrontation we put beside (original title not identified).
We recommended that the books can be read many times because each
reading a new world of understandings will over the consciousness,
and the possibilities of gain real knowledge to one mental structure
permit to get new attitudes and a measurable growing in performance
of individuality.

PLANS
OF STUDIES
For
orientation end seeking a gradual knowledge in the studies of the
author's work, we organized the titles of their books starting from
two blocks:
a)
Books gone back to the Philosophy Yogue, the Oriental Occultism
and other Superior Sciences;
The work of Atkinson as Ramacharaca consists fundamentally in
making possible the western student the understanding of the oriental
philosophy. The depth and the road of apprehension of the spiritual
world developed by the yogis, their conceptions and concepts,
they go away in such a way of the methods used by the Westerner,
that hinder our understanding. The philosophy Yogi stay for this
reason, relegated a group of knowledge that, although of having
recognized value for it wisdom, it translates himself as something
very distant of the western reality, so much to practice her as
to understand in their more complex levels.
It is glimpsed importance and depth, but the difficulty for the
understanding and the practice does with that the students' great
part is discouraged and that the Philosophy Yogue assumes a character
more illustrative than educational. Ramacharaca gets, through
a language accessible to the western student, to establish comparisons
between notions and philosophical knowledge, allowing the identification
of common points between the oriental philosophy and the spiritualistic
doctrines of the occident. In that way the student doesn't navigate
in a sea totally unknown, working with more appropriate notions
to the knowledge that already possesses.

The
teachings of these books talk about the seven constitutive principles
of man that constitute his material reality, mind and spirit. The
author talks to the reason of the student, to get a intelectual
basis of understanding preparing his mind to the followings deepens.

In
this block we gathered themes that form the bases for the construction
of a "New Psychology", or, a "New Thought" regarding
the human mind, relating them with the Spiritual Truths, family
to the early occultists of all of the times. It approach allows
anybody to identify in own existence, which if it evidences, with
practical results for the knowledge of himself. The individual becomes
gradually, gentleman of itself, learning how to administer their
interior forces and to dislodge noxious elements to full development.
The
author's books are complemented, forming an only body of knowledge
of the largest seriousness for the study of the spiritualistic themes,
although some of the titles can induce to have faith that it is
treated of quackery or inconsequent revelations, as for instance:
"How to use the Force of the Mind to Influence People"
and "Pratical Psycomancy and Pratical Psicomancy and Crystal
Gazing". The titles are contained in categories starting from
the nature of the approach, to facilitate the selection of subjects
